Bedbug

The bedbug (Cimex lectularius) has an incomplete metamorphosis with three main stages (egg, nymph, and adult). The life span of a bed bug most commonly ranges from four to six months. Some adult bed bugs may live up to a year under cool conditions. Bed bugs most often congregate along the seams and edges of the most common furniture in every home and office. The blackish spots are excrement. Bed bugs often hide in the seams, folds, and crevices of the mattress, box spring, bed frame, and headboard. Bed bugs are not known to transmit disease, but cause secondary infestations. Bites are often painless and active at night. Some people suffer from allergic reactions and develop painful.
